Your main purpose
Collaborate with the DMO (Data Management Office) and IT: Collaborate effectively with IT to ensure access to the necessary data for analysis, reporting and decision-making.
Lead and Develop the Data Analytics Team: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of skilled data analysts. Foster a collaborative environment that promotes growth, innovation, and continuous improvement in data analysis and reporting.
Drive Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyse data from various sources to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement across different departments as well as providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with the key stakeholders to understand their data needs and align data initiative with business objectives Partner with the Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Director to leverage synergies and ensure alignment of data analytics efforts across departments.
Develop and Maintain Data Analytics Infrastructure: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data used for analysis and reporting as well as promoting the adoption of data visualisation and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI to enhance data accessibility and understanding.
Champion Self-Service Analytics: Develop and deliver training sessions to promote self-service analytics across the organisation. Empower users to assess, analyse and interpret data independently.
What will you bring?
Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
Proven Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience in a data leadership role, with a strong track record of building and managing a team of data analysts.
Deep Knowledge of Data Management and Governance: Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, compliance, and best practices for maintaining data integrity.
Technical Expertise in Data Analysis and Business Intelligence: Proficiency in data analysis techniques and data visualisation. Strong understanding of business intelligence concept and tools with a focus on platforms like Microsoft Power BI, to effectively analyse and interpret data to drive business decisions.
Strategic Vision: Capable of aligning data initiatives with broader business objectives, developing long-term strategies to optimize data processes and drive business insights.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
