Your main purpose
Legal advisory & Contract management: Provide expert legal advice to all departments within the company on a wide range of legal issues, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of all kinds of contracts, encompassing drafting, negotiation, and meticulous review, including but not limited to commercial agreements, supplier agreements and other legal documents
Risk assessment, mitigation & Transactions support: Conduct thorough risk assessments for business initiatives, transactions, and operational matters, and provide strategic guidance to effectively mitigate legal risk. Work with external counsel and internal teams to provide legal support for acquisitions and other strategic transactions
Dispute resolution & Policy development: Manage contractual and other disputes, working closely with relevant parties to achieve amicable resolutions where possible, with a focus on minimizing legal exposure and achieving favorable outcomes for the company. Contribute to the development and improvement of internal policies and procedures, ensuring that they are consistent with legal requirements and industry best practices
Legal research, analysis & Cross-functional collaboration: Conducting in-depth legal research and analysis on a variety of issues and preparing clear and concise legal opinions and memoranda for internal stakeholders. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance, human resources, and operations, to provide cohesive legal support across the organization
What will you bring?
Bachelor’s degree in Greek Law
Proven work experience 2-4 years as a Legal Counsel, preferably including both law firm experience and inhouse roles; Experience in real estate and/or in the hospitality industry will be particularly valued
Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with various departments, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficiency in English
